1. Terms

Please note that the version 2.0. CovePDF is a BETA Version (in development) available for testing purposes only.

CovePDF BETA Version 2.0. Is still undergoing final testing before its official release. It is currently offered as a trial and it will be further developed based on customer feedback. The beta program is provided free of charge and only for your own testing and evaluation purposes, on your own risk and consent.

This beta version software has not been released for sale, redistribution or production environment. By downloading or using the beta versions of this software, you are considered to have read this notification and agreed to its terms. Beta software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You bear the entire risk as to the quality and performance of the beta software or any consequences of your usage and testing of this beta software.

It is up to you to take precaution against damages resulting from this beta software. Software in beta testing should for example not be used on sensitive, personal, confidential and/or other valuable data. The usage of beta software is at your own risk and may void warranty on your products. If you are not an experienced user, or otherwise in any doubt of your capabilities to make such a decision, please do not download and/or use this software. You are responsible for the data you share in the software during the collaboration.

In no event the software provider shall be liable to you for any direct or indirect damages, including damages arising out of the use or inability to use the beta software or damage or loss of data. Loss of business, loss of profit or goodwill. 

The software provider makes no warranties, conditions, representations or terms, expressed or implied, whether by statute, common law, custom, usage or otherwise as to any other matters, including but not limited to non-infringement of third party rights, integration, satisfactory quality or fitness for any particular purpose.

In no event shall the software provider be liable to the user for any damages, claims or costs whatsoever or any consequential, indirect, incidental damages, or any lost profits or lost savings, even if advised of the possibility of such loss, damages, claims or costs or for any claim by any third party. The foregoing limitations and exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Please be aware this software is still considered to be beta and as such may function in unexpected ways. We do try our best to make sure it is as stable as possible and try to address issues as quickly as possible when they come up, be aware that there may still be bugs within the software.

2. Technical requirements for Collaboration Feature

The collaboration feature requires a server in order for users to collaborate.

Through the set-up of CovePDF BETA Version 2.0, the following server will automatically be available for use for beta testing.

Server name: beta testing demo server.

Server type: beta testing demo server available for beta testing purposes.

All data from the collaboration will be saved to the beta testing demo server.

The server URL can be found within CovePDF 2.0: Menu > Preferences > Collaboration

4. DATA STORED ON THE BETA TESTING DEMO SERVER:

Personal data: User Email Address

Use of software data: All usage of the collaboration feature are stored on the server along with a time stamp.

5. PURPOSE SPECIFICATION

We collect your personal data for the purpose of providing the services of the beta test version of CovePDF in relation to which you have registered your interest. The stored information is not used or processed in any way further by us, other than specified herein and with your consent. All data upon finishing the beta testing period shall be deleted by us or written consent by you shall be obtained for further use.

We do not collect additional information about you from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organisations.

Specifically, your personal data and sensitive personal data will be available on the demo testing server. We may also use your personal data to communicate with you and provide information about our services and the services of others pursuant to your requests. You hereby give consent to this use of your personal data as described above. You can withdraw your consent or request right to access your personal data and be informed by writing to us on the following e-mail: contact@covepdf.com

With regard to any personal data which we collect from you, upon submission any items including such data, you hereby expressly consent to our processing of such personal data only for the purpose of using the collaboration feature of CovePDF BETA Version.

Your personal data will not be used to contact you for market research purposes.

You agree to the use of your personal data you have provided to us for the above purposes.
